Hi! We are new to this, and trying to get our advocacy, education and trainings out to everyone who needs them. We have been working in the City of San Francisco for 60+ years working on reducing the stigma surrounding mental illness and create equality for everyone!

In the past, I have lost jobs due to the onslaught of depression. I really sympathize.

I am dealing with the same issue of taking a paid leave of absence. I am extremely anxious and yet ecstatic to be out of that stressful environment. I am attending partial hospitalization for my depression and taking this paid leave has been a blessing in disguise. It has given me the opportunity to fully work on myself and discover who I am, good and bad. Take it day by day and take the opportunity to heal yourself so you can be the person you want to be!
