MyChillPills - Mental Health for the Masses

Besides traditional medicine, does anybody use alternative methods when dealing with their depression? I started a blog (www.curedepressionwithumbrellas.com) that tries to offer new ways with coping with depression naturally (yoga, meditation, crystals, journaling, ect.). It's fairly new, so I don't have too many suggestions posted but I am curious to see if anyone here has taken the natural route path and have you had any success stories?

Well, in the end I don't take much stock in alternative medicine. there are things that simply cannot be done, and there are some things you have to solve the symptoms. I don't want anyone messing around with my chi, I want a pill to make me feel all better. Still, if you know of a good way, then obviously I am always willing to learn something new.

Renata I suppose that like others hear, I don't really understand what Acupuncture is. I mean, I do, obviously, but seriously, doesn't it hurt?

Don't you bleed?

After reading your post Renata, I think I want to go ahead and try acupuncture. I don't think you bleed. It's just little harmless pricks.

Well, I dunno... I'm probably just scared, as most people are, of putting needles in my body. when I get a blood test, I always turn my head away lol
